Job Description:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Export Manager with expertise in international business development, particularly within the solar PV industry. The Export Manager will play a pivotal role in expanding our market presence globally, developing new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth through strategic export initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive export strategies to penetrate new markets and expand the company's international footprint in the solar PV industry.
- Identify and evaluate potential export markets, conducting market research, competitor analysis, and risk assessments to inform market entry decisions.
- Establish and nurture relationships with international distributors, agents, and strategic partners to facilitate market penetration and sales expansion.
- Lead negotiations and finalize contractual agreements with overseas clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and contractual obligations.
- Coordinate with internal teams, including sales, marketing, logistics, and finance, to ensure seamless execution of export transactions and timely delivery of products/services to customers.
- Manage the end-to-end export process, including order processing, documentation, shipping logistics, customs clearance, and payment collections, in accordance with international trade regulations and company policies.
- Monitor and analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitive dynamics in target markets, providing strategic insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Prepare and present regular reports on export performance, sales forecasts, market trends, and business development activities to stakeholders, highlighting achievements, challenges, and opportunities for growth.
- Stay abreast of industry developments, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies in the solar PV sector, leveraging market intelligence to identify potential opportunities and mitigate risks.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in International Business, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in export management, international business development, or sales roles, preferably within the solar PV industry or renewable energy sector.
- Proven track record of success in developing and implementing export strategies, generating new business opportunities, and achieving sales targets in international markets.
- Strong understanding of international trade regulations, export documentation requirements, and Incoterms, with experience in navigating customs procedures and trade compliance issues.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and negotiate effectively with diverse stakeholders across different cultures and geographies.
- Proficiency in foreign languages and familiarity with international business practices and cultural norms are desirable but not essential.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Willingness to travel internationally as needed to meet with clients, attend trade shows, and explore new business opportunities.
