We're seeking experienced Solar Trade Assistants to join a busy team delivering commercial and industrial solar installations across multiple project sites throughout the Waikato and Auckland regions.

What You'll Be Doing Working alongside experienced installers and electricians, you'll be involved in every stage of commercial solar installations, including: Roof Work - Installing mounting rails and roof brackets
- Carrying and positioning solar panels
- Flashing roof penetrations
- Measuring roof layouts
- Working safely at heights
Ground & Site Work - Installing cable trays
- Digging trenches on commercial projects
- Assisting with inverter installations
- General labouring and site clean-up
Electrical Assistance - Pulling DC and AC cabling
- Installing conduit
- Cable management
- Assisting qualified electricians
- Labelling completed systems
What We're Looking For Essential - Electrical assistant with previous solar experience
- Roofing experience
- Physically fit and capable of manual work
- Comfortable working on roofs and outdoors in all weather conditions
- Confident using hand and power tools
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude
Highly Regarded - Working at Heights certification
- Site Safe Passport
- Electrical Trade Assistant experience
- Basic cable installation knowledge
- Good mechanical aptitude
