Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team in the renewable energy sector. As an Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and revenue growth within your designated region, with a specific focus on the solar PV industry. Your primary objective will be to develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet and exceed targets, while also fostering strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve sales targets and increase market share in the solar PV industry.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory, including lead generation, prospecting, and networking.
- Manage and nurture relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and operations, to support sales initiatives and drive business growth.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making and maintain a competitive edge.
- Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and analyses to senior management, highlighting performance metrics and areas for improvement.
- Provide training, guidance, and support to sales representatives and distributors within the region to optimize their performance and enhance overall team effectiveness.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote brand awareness and generate new business opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-4 years of proven exp in sales, with a demonstrated track record of success in the solar PV industry.
- Strong understanding of solar energy technologies, products, and services, as well as knowledge of relevant market dynamics and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with clients and colleagues.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a results-oriented mindset and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) for sales tracking and reporting purposes.
- Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory as needed.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
