Responsibilities

Curriculum Development:
Design, update, and maintain comprehensive training curricula covering solar energy fundamentals, system components (panels, inverters, batteries), installation processes, and different system types (grid-tied, off-grid, hybrid).
Training Delivery:
Conduct online and in-person workshops, including hands-on practical sessions, to impart skills in solar panel installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance for various environments, such as ground-mounted and roof-top systems.
Technical Expertise:
Provide detailed knowledge on electrical safety standards, wiring regulations, power evacuation systems, and substation equipment.
Assessment and Feedback:
Evaluate trainee understanding and competence through practical assessments, written exams, and hands-on evaluations, offering constructive feedback to enhance skills.
Safety and Compliance:
Emphasize and enforce adherence to industry safety standards and best practices throughout all training activities.
Mentoring and Support:
Offer ongoing support, troubleshooting advice, and mentorship to trainees to help them succeed in their learning.
Administrative Tasks:
Maintain training equipment and materials, keep accurate records of trainee performance and certifications, and prepare reports on training progress and outcomes.

Skills & Qualifications

Technical Proficiency:
Strong technical expertise in solar PV installation, commissioning, and maintenance, including practical field experience.
Industry Knowledge:
Comprehensive knowledge of renewable energy technologies, market landscapes, solar energy system components, and electrical safety standards.
Communication & Interpersonal Skills:
Excellent classroom presentation, workshop facilitation, mentoring, and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences.
Problem-Solving:
Ability to troubleshoot and provide effective solutions to technical challenges.
Adaptability:
Ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles and experience levels.
Curriculum Design:
Skills to develop engaging learning objectives, outcomes, and materials for training programs.
