Job Description
- Generate new business opportunities within an assigned territory
- Engage with residential and commercial customers to identify their energy requirements
- Promote renewable energy solutions and qualify prospective customers
- Capture customer information using CRM and mobile applications
- Attend marketing events and community activations to generate leads
- Achieve weekly and monthly sales activity targets
- Maintain accurate reports and provide market feedback
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure a smooth customer journey
Skills and Experience
- 3+ years' experience in technical sales, field sales, business development, or customer-facing sales
- Alternatively, a Degree in Electrical Engineering with an interest in technical sales
- Knowledge of solar, electrical, or renewable energy products is advantageous
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience using CRM systems
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and able to work independently
- Valid driver's licence and own reliable vehicle
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region
Qualifications
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering is highly advantageous
- Alternatively, a qualification in Sales, Business, or Marketing with relevant technical sales experience
