Summary
This position is located within the Department of the Interior, National Park Service, National Park Service - Southeast, Little River Canyon National Preserve, in Fort Payne, Alabama.
Major Duties
At the full performance level (GS-7) the major duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following: Provides accurate and reliable information on administrative functions of the park. Tracks and reports on accountable property. Resolves issues and problems with forms and data tracking. Assists with development and formulation of the budget. Maintains financial documents in an automated system. Provides human resources information and assistance to park. Serves as a liaison with the Servicing Human Resources Office (SHRO). Serves as primary timekeeper, reviewing time and attendance reports. Uses computers and software for data collection, analysis and collating. Types and composes correspondence, memoranda, reports, and schedules. Duties will be developmental in nature when filled below the full performance level. The National Park Service - Southeast, Little River Canyon National Preserve has determined that the duties of this position are suitable for telework and may be allowed to telework with supervisor approval. Salary Information GS-6: $47,290 - 61,477 (per annum) GS-7: $52,551 - $68,317 (per annum) First time hires to the Federal government normally start at the lower salary range of the grade level.
