Summary
This position is located within the Department of the Interior, National Park Service, San Antonio Mission National Park, Division of Facilities Management, San Antonio, TX.
Major Duties
Provides facility management expertise for park unit initiatives. Participates in policy decisions, develops management documents, monitors functions for compliance, and represents the park in public interactions. Prepares annual maintenance budgets using NPS programs, participates in OFS requests, manages project funding, tracks property inventory, and compiles cost data. Defines project scope, goals, and alternatives for facility changes; coordinates professional consultations and project document review. Acts as liaison for compliance on environmental and cultural issues, implements pollution prevention and sustainable operations, ensures adherence to NPS and regulatory standards. Supervises staff, handles recruitment, work plans, promotions, scheduling, evaluations, training, and resolves personnel issues; supports EEO programs.
