Major Duties
Operates mowers, lawn equipment, farm type tractors, and towed or attached equipment to maintain grounds, shoulders, ditches, or medians. Frequently operates hydraulic or mechanical controls in a tractor or equipment for several hours a day. Operates various attachments using power take off or direct drive system. Operates tractor with mowing type equipment on level or rolling terrain. Interprets safety rules and regulations and other posted rules for moving vehicles. Performs daily preventative maintenance and make repairs and adjustments to tractor and equipment.
