Job Advert SummaryAs a Proposal Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting our Sales team by developing high-quality technical and commercial proposals for Solar PV and Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects. You will work closely with customers, suppliers, engineering teams and business development colleagues to develop tailored energy solutions that meet our clients' operational and financial objectives.
Minimum Requirements
- BEng, BSc or BTech qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Energy Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in Solar PV system design, proposals or technical sales support.
- Experience developing commercial and industrial Solar PV proposals.
- Working knowledge of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) would be advantageous.
- Proficiency in PVsyst, Helioscope and/or HOMER simulation software.
- Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems and Solar PV design principles.
- Experience analysing electricity consumption data and utility tariffs.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills and strong numerical ability.
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel nationally.
- Comfortable working at heights (training will be provided).
