Summary
This position is located in Guadalupe Mountains National Park in the Administration and Management Division.
Major Duties
Major Duties: Responsible for keeping the organization's revenues and spending in balance. Oversees designated timekeepers in the organization, assuring that the entire staff of the organization is trained in requirements for maintaining accurate time and attendance records. Issues Bills for Collection, when the incumbent determines the appropriateness of the billing request and prepares demand letters. Oversees payment of invoices for goods and services after ensuring that amounts billed are correct and the goods or services purchased are satisfactory or gathers documentation and signatures for others to pay invoices. Develops procedures and operates internal controls established to eliminate waste and prevent fraud in use of Government property and resources. Oversees the work of employees who provide administrative support for the Park or Program Manager and other staff who are required to travel on business, including preparation of travel authorizations and vouchers, reservations, and other travel services. Serves as point of contract for the Government Performance and Results Acts (GPRA) program. Serves as the primary liaison with the centralized HR Talent Group, coordinating the identification and communication of personnel needs and receipt of HR services from the centralized office. Acquires all good and services the organization requires to accomplish its mission and programs. Participates in or oversees negotiation of cooperative agreements and memoranda of understanding with other Federal agencies, other levels of government, and/or public, private, and non-profit institutions. Provides information technology, connectivity, communications (local, long distance, cellular and/or satellite telephone, facsimile), and automation advise in support of programs for the organization.
