DescriptionThe Junior Proposal Engineer is responsible for the delivery of technical and commercial project proposals, or sub-scope of medium, large size and/or complex project proposals, across various process industries (such as Life Sciences, Chemical, Energy, Power and Renewables) within the Emerson Control Systems & Software projects business portfolio, working under guidance or supervision.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Ensuring understanding, managing and satisfying each requirement or expectation from customers or company’s stakeholders through remote communication or site visits;
- Taking ownership of the delivery of the assigned technical and commercial project proposals scope, or sub-scope of large size and/or complex project proposals led by Proposal Manager or Lead, within automation projects business portfolio, following the standard process;
- Acquiring, maintaining, and actively sharing knowledge and experience with the team and the more comprehensive organization;
- Proactively apply methodologies, resources and techniques for minimizing the proposal preparation effort, whilst maintaining the requisite schedule and quality;
- Execute assigned tasks or low complexity scope under guidance or supervision, related to technical and commercial proposal delivery within Emerson Control Systems & Software projects business portfolio, following the standard process.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Engineering field;
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal) and excellent communication skills;
- Basic (beginner level) technical understanding of process automation, computer infrastructure and network architecture.
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Experience in commercial and sales support activities;
- Project management / coordination skills.
