Introduction

Our client, a well-established and growing player in the wholesale and retail sector, is seeking an experienced and results-driven Branch Manager to lead their Middelburg branch. This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on leader with strong industry knowledge and a proven track record in sales, operations, and team management.

Duties & Responsibilities

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the branch, ensuring efficient and profitable performance.
Drive sales growth through excellent customer service, business development, and relationship management.
Lead, motivate, and develop branch staff to achieve individual and team objectives.
Manage stock control, inventory levels, and procurement processes.
Ensure operational compliance with company policies and procedures.
Monitor branch performance, budgets, and profitability.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
Identify new business opportunities and expand the branch's customer base.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Proven experience in a Branch Manager or senior management role within the wholesale and retail environment.
Strong industry experience in one or more of the following sectors:
- Appliance Spares
- Commercial Refrigeration
- HVAC (Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning)
- Solar Products and Solutions
Demonstrated success in sales and business development.
Strong people management and leadership experience.
Sound understanding of stock management, branch operations, and financial controls.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
Computer literate with experience using ERP and stock management systems.
Valid driver's licence.
