This is a key leadership role within our Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) business, supporting operational excellence and ensuring the safety and wellbeing of our people, contractors and communities.

The Opportunity
As the EHS Manager, you will lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of EHS systems, processes and programs across a complex healthcare portfolio. You’ll partner closely with account leadership and site‑based FM teams to drive a strong safety culture, ensure compliance, and deliver best‑in‑class EHS outcomes.
This role reports to the Senior Account Director – Healthcare with an indirect reporting line to the EHS Manager ANZ.
Key Responsibilities
Lead EHS governance across the healthcare portfolio, ensuring compliance with legislation, codes of practice and contractual requirements.
Implement and enhance EHS management systems, including risk registers, management plans and audit frameworks.
Conduct risk assessments, inspections, audits and hazard reviews to identify and mitigate critical risks.
Oversee ESM compliance, hazardous materials governance, environmental obligations and heritage requirements.
Manage incident reporting, investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Deliver EHS inductions, toolbox talks and safety training for staff and contractors.
Support procurement with EHS input into tenders and contractor safety assessments.
Coordinate Emergency Management and Business Continuity Planning.
Prepare accurate and timely EHS performance reporting for internal and client stakeholders.
Mentor and coach operational teams to strengthen safety leadership and culture.

About You
5–10+ years’ experience in EHS roles within facilities management, property or construction.
Strong knowledge of EHS legislation, systems and risk frameworks.
Proven ability to lead, influence and mentor diverse stakeholder groups.
Experience managing audit programs, compliance frameworks and incident investigations.
Tertiary qualification in a related discipline.
ICAM and Lead Auditor qualifications (highly regarded).
Confident communicator with strong problem‑solving and stakeholder engagement skills.
