Summary: The Concessions Team Lead provides support and supervises the service of concessions staff at their assigned location. Manages the concession in the absence of the Food & Beverage Supervisor.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Works closely with Food & Beverage Supervisor to ensure correct stock levels are accurate based on business demands.
- Lead by example by modeling excellent customer service, cleanliness, and adherence to all operational protocols.
- Handles and manages customer complaints and offers resolutions within concessions guidelines.
- Maintains safe, secure, and healthy concession locations and proper sanitation standards as set forth by Louisiana health codes.
- Accurately handle credit card transactions and operate POS systems while ensuring proper control and reconciliation procedures.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders efficiently, and resolving any concerns promptly and professionally.
- Assist with food preparation, portioning, and presentation in accordance with quality and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized concession area, including sanitizing surfaces, disposing of waste, and following health code guidelines.
- Monitor inventory and assist with restocking food, beverages, utensils, and supplies to ensure stand readiness during all operating hours.
- Follow instructions from the Concessions Supervisor and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills with guests, coworkers, and leadership staff.
- Ensure guest transactions are completed quickly and accurately at the register while maintaining a welcoming demeanor.
- Contribute to a positive team atmosphere through cooperation, flexibility, and mutual respect.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Other duties/responsibilities may be assigned.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Manage the assigned concession stand and staff.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age, due to the state alcohol serving requirements.
- Must obtain SERV Safe Food Handler certification in a reasonable period after start of employment and state ATC Responsible Vendors Server’s Permit.
- Active driver’s license to drive within the park.
- Food and Beverage experience required.
- Must have excellent customer service skills
- Display effective listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Display problem solving, analytical abilities and sense of urgency.
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with computerized POS required.
- Works well in a team setting.
- Previous experience in restaurant and/or hospitality industries
- Good communications and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow instructions.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to outside weather conditions. Occasionally exposed to wet, humid, moving particles, high, precarious places, fumes, or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold and heat, risk of electric shock, explosives, and vibrations. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
Seasonal Part-Time position. Must be flexible to work weekdays and/or weekends. Shift times may vary depending on scheduled events. Wednesday, 5 - 10 pm, Thursday & Friday, 2 - 10 pm, Saturday & Sunday - both day and evening hours may be available.
Up to 29.5 hours per week.
