About this Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced Procurement Team Lead to oversee end-to-end procurement activities and support vessel operations across the business. Based in Singapore and reporting to the General Manager – Supply Chain, this role is responsible for leading the procurement team, managing supplier relationships, driving cost-saving initiatives, ensuring compliance with procurement standards, and improving supply chain processes.
Key Responsibilities
- End to End Procurement Process from Requisition to Goods Supply.
- Processing of purchase requisitions in accordance with procurement policies and procedures
- Ensure timely deliveries at the right cost for goods and purchases for internal stakeholders.
- Work collaboratively with the vessel operations team on management of suppliers, supply / demand planning, inventory management and order fulfilment.
- Monitor Team’s KPI and compliance to Group Procurement Standard
- Building up vendor base and ensure vendor record is updated.
- Feedback vendor issue to Category Team and follow up on action required.
- Drive improvements of procurement systems and processes
- Reduce operation overhead by improving and removing unnecessary elements.
- Provide point of contact for audit process related to operations and ensure outstanding actions from audits are carried out in a timely manner by personnel.
- Ensure procurement process comply with HSEQ requirement.
Qualifications and Experience - 10 years’ experience working in a similar role coupled with relevant tertiary qualifications
- Relevant experience in a similar role such as leadership and Teamwork
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, particularly MS Excel
- Demonstrable analytical capabilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional planning and organisational skills.
