Job Advert SummaryThe Quantity Surveyor will support Solareff's Supply Chain function by developing, maintaining, and optimising cost models, pricing structures, and quantity surveying data for renewable energy, electrical infrastructure, and construction projects. The incumbent will ensure that accurate costing information is maintained within the ERP system, support sales and tendering activities, engage with suppliers and subcontractors regarding measurable work rates, and provide commercial input to improve project profitability and competitiveness.
The role requires a strong understanding of quantity surveying principles, construction methodologies, and cost management practices, with exposure to the power, energy, and infrastructure sectors.
Minimum RequirementsQualifications
- BSc Quantity Surveying (QS), BTech Quantity Surveying, National Diploma in Quantity Surveying, or equivalent qualification.
- Membership or registration with a relevant professional body will be advantageous.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor within construction, engineering, infrastructure, or energy-related industries.
- Experience in power generation, renewable energy, electrical infrastructure, or energy distribution projects is highly advantageous.
- Civil construction quantity surveying experience will be beneficial.
- Experience working with ERP systems and cost databases.
- Experience supporting tendering and estimating functions.
