Senior Manager, Environment, Health & Safety (EHS)
Location: Warrenville, IL (multi-site responsibility)Reports To: Director of HR-Corporate

This strategic, multi-site role is responsible for advancing safety and environmental performance across our manufacturing operations while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and customer expectations. Working closely with site leadership, you will help shape a culture where safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement are embedded in everything we do.
Key Responsibilities
- EHS Program Execution & Leadership
Lead day-to-day execution of EHS programs across all Plymouth Tube locations
Support development and implementation of annual safety and environmental goals
Partner with site leadership to drive engagement and compliance
Provide guidance and support to site-level safety and environmental resources
- Regulatory Compliance & Reporting
Coordinate and ensure completion of all required environmental and safety reporting, including:
Hazardous waste, Tier II, and Form R reporting
Air, stormwater, and wastewater reporting requirements
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Support permit management and renewal processes across all sites
- ESG & Customer Compliance
Manage ESG data collection and reporting processes (EHS Insight or equivalent systems)
Support customer-driven environmental compliance requirements such as:
REACH, RoHS, PFAS, and conflict minerals
Ensure data accuracy and timely submission of customer requests
- Audit & Inspection Support
Coordinate internal and external EHS audits, including ISO 14001 activities
Track and support completion of corrective actions
Assist with regulatory inspections and insurance audits
Maintain audit readiness across all locations
- Multi-Site Coordination
Support EHS oversight across all manufacturing sites (Trent, Salisbury, Hopkinsville, etc.)
Conduct periodic site visits for compliance reviews and support
Lead or coordinate recurring EHS calls and cross-site communication
Review near misses and support follow-up actions with site teams
- Safety Performance & Continuous Improvement
Monitor safety metrics and support improvements in performance
Review incidents, near misses, and corrective actions regularly
Assist in standardizing safety policies, procedures, and training across locations
- Budget & Administrative Support
Support development and tracking of EHS and remediation budgets
Assist with capital requests related to safety and environmental compliance
Maintain EHS systems, reporting tools, and documentation
Requirements:
Physical Requirements
Ability to travel to multiple manufacturing locations as needed
Ability to work in both office and industrial/manufacturing environments
Ability to walk, stand, and move throughout plant facilities for extended periods
Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, steel-toe boots with metatarsals, and hearing protection
Ability to climb stairs, ladders, and access elevated or confined areas as required
Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds
Ability to work in varying environmental conditions, including exposure to heat, cold, noise, and industrial surroundings
Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a computer and performing administrative tasks
Ability to see, hear, and communicate effectively in both office and plant environments

Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Safety, Engineering, or related field
7+ years of experience in EHS within a manufacturing environment
Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and environmental regulations
Experience with environmental reporting and auditing processes
Key Competencies
Strong organizational and execution skills
Ability to coordinate across multiple sites in a decentralized environment
Working knowledge of regulatory compliance and reporting requirements
Effective communication and collaboration with plant leadership
Detail-oriented with strong follow-through

Salary Range: 135K-160K
