Structural Engineer
Location: Houston, TX
Duration: 6+ months to begin - potential to extend
Client: EPC
Responsibilities:
•Initiates development of personal objectives aligned with those of the organization.
•Has good understanding of the complete design and has good input into ways of improving the design.
•Utilize codes and standards to complete assignments.
•Recognize inefficiencies or misuse of symbology and questions.
•Performs assigned work efficiently and effectively to maximize person productivity.
•Performs quality checks of the design in a team environment to ensure accuracy.
• Prepare detailed structural drawings and models using CAD/BIM software (e.g., AutoCAD, SmartPlant).
• Interpret and apply engineering calculations, specifications, and design criteria to produce accurate design documents.
Qualifications:
• 10-20 years' relevant experience in civil/structural design.
• Experience with SmartPlant
• Experience in Oil & Gas, LNG, EPC, or Petrochemical industries.
