The Solar Site Executive will be responsible for customer handling, lead generation, relationship management, and business development for solar installation projects. The role includes field visits, site surveys, technical assessment, and active involvement in installation, testing, and commissioning of solar PV systems.
The candidate will act as a bridge between customers, sales team, technical team, and external partners (including DISCOM authorities) to ensure smooth project execution from inquiry to installation and post-installation support.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Handling & Business Development
- Coordinate with walk-in customers, site visitors, and inquiries to understand requirements and explain solar solutions
- Generate leads through field activities, references, and local networking
- Conduct customer meetings and convert leads into business opportunities
- Maintain strong relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business
Site Survey & Technical Assessment
- Conduct field visits and site surveys across Bihar and nearby areas
- Perform roof assessment, shadow analysis, load calculation, and system feasibility
- Collect and verify customer documents (electricity bill, ID proof, site details)
- Prepare basic system design and explain feasibility to customers
Installation & Technical Execution
- Installation, testing, and commissioning of Solar PV systems (On-grid / Off-grid / Hybrid)
- Site survey, layout marking, and system planning
- DC/AC wiring, cable routing, and electrical connections
- Coordinate with technical team for smooth installation execution
- Support EPC activities for large-scale solar projects (2–3 MW)
- Ensure proper safety standards and quality execution at site
DISCOM & Net Metering Coordination
- Handle net metering process including documentation and approvals
- Coordinate with DISCOM offices for application, inspection, and installation
- Provide support for rooftop solar projects under PM Surya Ghar Yojana
Finance & Documentation
- Coordinate with finance partners for loan processing and EMI approvals
- Maintain records of quotations, reports, and daily activity updates
After-Sales Support
- Ensure smooth project completion and customer handover
- Provide after-sales support and resolve customer concerns
Required Skills
