Risk & Compliance
At Alantra, the Risk & Compliance Department plays a key role in ensuring a robust, sustainable business model that complies with applicable regulations. Its mission is to ensure that the Group’s activities are conducted within an appropriate framework of legal, regulatory, and internal policy compliance, while maintaining a level of risk consistent with the organization’s defined risk appetite.
About the Role
As a Risk & Compliance Intern at Alantra, you will play an important role in supporting the objectives of our department. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience within an international investment banking and asset management environment, participating in the identification, assessment, and monitoring of risks, as well as in the analysis and application of regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with business teams and other corporate services departments to understand their operational and regulatory needs and support them from a Risk & Compliance perspective.
- Assist in monitoring and assessing compliance with internal policies.
- Support the execution and documentation of testing and controls over business activities.
- Assist in preparing regulatory horizon scanning reports.
- Support the management of licences, registrations, certifications, and regulatory obligations.
- Assist in reviewing and updating policies and procedures.
- Support internal and external audit activities.
- Support digitalisation, automation, and AI-related initiatives within the department.
Requirements:
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Strong interest in risk management and regulatory compliance.
- Fluent Spanish and English.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Familiarity with digital tools and generative AI.
- Strong attention to detail and professional approach.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
