Key responsibilities

You will be mainly accountable for:
Analyzing complex mechanical systems and exploring the introduction of sustainability concepts into product development.
Learning more about sustainability and life cycle assessments based on bill of materials and 3D models.
Getting familiar with the newest AI technologies like LLM that can support extracting information on geometry and manufacturing from bill of materials .
Comparing different AI approaches to find the best solution.
Collaborating with our team members and learning about new technological trends and future control and protection devices.
Documenting and presenting scientific results in a professional environment at ABB.
Qualifications for the role
You are studying for a master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a similar field.
You have good knowledge and experience in coding, in particular Matlab or Python.
Experience with the use of LLM/AI is beneficial but not required.
You are fluent in English (written and oral).
