Our Ideal Candidate
Allnorth is seeking a Regional Materials Testing Lead to provide leadership, technical guidance, and operational support across our materials testing operations in British Columbia. This role is ideal for an experienced professional with a strong technical background in materials testing or geotechnical services and a passion for developing teams, improving operational consistency, and supporting high-quality project delivery.
Success in this role means balancing technical excellence, client relationships, workforce planning, and team development while supporting safe and consistent execution across multiple regions.
A Day in the Life
- Provide senior technical guidance and oversight for materials testing operations across the region
- Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards, certifications, and quality requirements
- Support operational improvements and develop scalable, efficient processes across teams
- Participate in technical discussions and maintain strong client relationships
- Assist with workforce planning, forecasting, and regional operational support
- Promote consistency in execution standards, safety, and quality across projects
- Develop training standards and mentor technical leaders and team members
What You’ll Bring to the Team
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation considered an asset
- Minimum 10 years of industry experience with progressive leadership responsibilities
- Experience in materials testing or geotechnical services is essential
- CCIL and RSO certification preferred; must be obtainable
- PMP designation is considered an asset
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
