Job Description Summary
The Solutions Architect Lead will work across the ERP support team to deliver process improvements and identify simplification opportunities. Will act as a functional expert on FieldCore’s Enterprise Tooling Management system to quickly assess and provide resolution for incidents and problems. This position will work with Tooling Digital Operation process owners to translate functional requirements and generate detailed functional specifications. Will coordinate SDLC between functional and technical build resources to ensure changes are built and deployed with quality.
Job Description
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Provide support for SAP ECC (MM, SD, PM, ETM together with Fiori and System Administration functionalities) through working with business users in understanding, troubleshooting, and resolving production support tickets
- Architect Solutions that are sustainable and drive value for our business
- Solve production issues from low to highly critical/ severity issues
- Provide support in period close activities which are essential part of the business processes
- Work with ERP Support to resolve ETM issues with ERP seeded functionalities, including: knowledge in De-bugging, Sandboxing and Configuring ERP Systems
- Work with our IT Support partners to resolve production support tickets related to customized functionalities
- System setup and configuration for upgrades/ implementation of new functionalities/organizations
- Business analyst tasks which include: gathering of requirements and information from core application users and business sponsors; understand business goals and objectives; gather system and development requirements; research on existing functionalities and feasible custom solutions; prepare necessary and required documentations; communicate/translate functional specifications and business requirements for development/technical groups used
- Meet ad hoc report requirements by creating customized reports, utilizing reporting tools, and developing scripts to extract data/reports
- Fix data corruption and/or minor system errors and conduct bulk updates by creating tested, reliable, and accurate data fixes/ scripts
- Develop business process improvements using the current/ available ERP applications/functions
- Participate in UAT document preparation, testing activities, production implementation and post-production support/ activities
- Document business process documents that coincide with the use of ERP system
- Provide proper training to all kinds of ERP users: core; external/ internal; end-users; self-service users
- Travel may be required

Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in technical/related field or equivalent
- 10+ years of experience in implementing SAP ECC, S4/HANA ERP systems
- In depth functional and configuration expertise with proven track record of providing innovative solutions
- Business Process documenting skills and Expertise in writing Functional Designs for RICEFW objects
- System Integration experience with other ERP systems, Third Party Systems and SAAS platforms
- Hands on experience in Extraction Transformation and Load of Data to SAP
- English proficiency required
Desired Characteristics
- Master’s degree desired
- Experience as Solution Architect in an end to end greenfield SAP Implementation
- Hands on SAP Techno-functional experience in SAP PM and ETM Modules with knowledge of cross module integration
- Knowledge of MM and SD Modules with experience in the P2P and O2C cycles
- SAP Fiori, SAP Master Data Governance experience a big plus
- Proficient with all applications of the Microsoft Office suite, including: Access, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, MS Project, Visio, and Outlook
- Education/work background in the construction and equipment management industry
- Independent and team player with enthusiasm in working in both management and customer-oriented environment
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written (includes documentation skills)
