What You Will Do:
Develop, influence, and track ideas through opportunity ideation, business case development, implementation plans, into final sustainment.
Lead internal and external stakeholders to drive opportunity implementation, remove impediments, and obtain leadership / Business Unit approvals.
Facilitate meetings with stakeholder teams to review opportunities and ensure progress to target.
Strategic application of projects, engineering, and construction background to drive high value solutions and approaches.
Identify and analyze challenges, problems and process breakdowns to support continuous improvement of the processes and practices that create value.
Provide strategic solutions to challenges and opportunities by challenging status quo, thinking with the end goal in mind, influencing and facilitating positive collaboration with the right people to optimize value and continuously improve.
Who You Are:
University degree, or related engineering, construction or operational training and/or experience.
Minimum of 8 years of working experience in the oil and gas industry, including projects or project management experience. Project Management Professional (PMP) or Project Management Institute (PMI) is an asset.
Have working knowledge in Engineering, Construction, Field operations and commercial.
Conveying a strong sense of urgency and driving issues to closure Problem solving, decision-making, organization, planning and leadership skills, including the ability to influence without direct authority.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage and prioritize several workload deliverables concurrently and resolve issues in a timely manner.
Highly skilled in Powerpoint and Visio.
Experience in developing lean project scope, and process optimization (within projects).
Experience in leading large-scale workshops.
Working Conditions:
Office environment with occasional (<25%) travel to regional offices or field sites.
Project work can involve tight timelines and high visibility, requiring quick deliverables to senior leadership, including the Executive Leadership Team.
