Title: Shop Supervisor
Department: Operations
Reports To: Operations Coordinator
Location: Santa Rosa, CA
FLSA Status: Full-Time, Non-Exempt from Wage and Hour Laws
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
The Shop Supervisor is responsible for all aspects of supervision of shop management. The function of the CCNB shop is to procure, maintain and repair all hand and power tools used by the Natural Resources Department and provide structured, certified trainings for a select group of qualified corpsmembers. Specific responsibilities of the Shop Supervisor include:
- Coordinate repairs and perform light maintenance to vehicles.
- Perform routine maintenance and repair of all CCNB hand and power tools
- General organization of the tool storage sheds and parking areas
- Inventory and tracking of tool maintenance records
- Procurement of shop supplies & and new tools
- Corpsmember training and certification
- Provide tool orientation for new corpsmembers
- Provide coverage for Natural Resources Crew Supervisors
- Provide supervision of corpsmembers on construction and natural resource projects
- Other duties as assigned
QualificationsQUALIFICATIONS

- Passion for helping young adults and the environment
- Experience in supervising and training youth
- Ability to repair small engines
- Knowledge of the use and safety of hand and power tools
- Highly organized and independent
- Ability to provide short-term coverage as a Natural Resources Crew Supervisor
- Ability to do strenuous work in adverse weather conditions
- Desire to work in a fast-paced and diverse environment
- Demonstrated ability to resolve conflict and mediate disputes in a positive fashion
- Standard First Aid and CPR certification – current or acquire in first 3 months
- Clean DMV record, with ability to pass CCNB’s driving exam
- Compensation: $26.00 - $29.00
