Stefanutti Stocks Inland is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Planner (Renewable Energy) to lead the planning, scheduling, and performance monitoring of large-scale renewable energy and infrastructure projects. The successful incumbent will ensure projects are delivered in line with contractual requirements, timelines, and commercial objectives while supporting efficient project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Project Planning & Scheduling
- Develop and maintain detailed project programmes using Primavera P6
- Establish Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), critical paths, and project baselines
- Integrate engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) schedules into a single master programme
- Align programmes with client milestones and contractual deliverables
Multidisciplinary Project Integration
- Coordinate planning across civil, geotechnical, roads, earthworks, and electrical disciplines
- Support planning activities for renewable energy projects, including balance-of-plant construction
- Ensure seamless integration of construction activities across multiple disciplines
Progress Monitoring & Reporting
- Track and report on project progress against approved schedules
- Identify deviations, delays, and risks, and recommend corrective actions
- Prepare weekly and monthly planning reports for management and clients
- Implement and manage earned value management (EVM) where applicable
Risk, Claims & Contractual Support
- Conduct delay analysis and support Extension of Time (EOT) claims
- Identify planning-related risks and develop mitigation strategies
- Support commercial teams with programme-related contractual matters (FIDIC or similar)
Stakeholder Engagement
- Liaise with project managers, site teams, engineers, and clients
- Participate in progress and coordination meetings
- Provide strategic planning input to support successful project delivery
