About the Role
As a Business Development Manager, you’ll be the face of Lawrence & Hanson for our Renewables offering. Your role will be to build our market presence, engage new and existing customers, and deliveri solutions that genuinely make a difference. You’ll be accountable for sales performance across your territory while proactively seeking new business opportunities and representing our brand with integrity and enthusiasm.
What You’ll Do
- Grow and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Identify sales opportunities, conduct effective qualifying calls, and close new business
- Visit customers to understand their needs and match them with the right products and services
- Meet budgeted sales and margin targets across your assigned customer base
- Work collaboratively with branch managers, regional managers, and branch teams
- Maintain excellent supplier relationships to support customer outcomes
- Promote and contribute to a positive safety culture—identifying hazards, reporting risks, and supporting a safe workplace
What You Bring - Proven sales experience with demonstrated success in business development or account management
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- A customer‑centric mindset and ability to build meaningful, long‑term relationships
- Solid product and industry knowledge—technical experience essential
- Self‑motivation, resilience, and a results‑driven approach
- A commitment to safety, teamwork, and representing our values with professionalism
