Cape Joy<\/span><\/span><\/b> is looking for a <\/span><\/span>Guest House Operations Lead,<\/span><\/span><\/b> a go -getter who will run daily operations, cook breakfast, maintain our garden & pool, host events, <\/span><\/span>and build partnerships with neighbouring guest houses and tour operators<\/span><\/span><\/b>. <\/span><\/span><\/span>

No experience? No problem. We will train you. But you must love people, taking ownership and working on weekends,<\/span><\/span><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

Requirements<\/h3>
Hospitality/tourism degree (preferred but not essential)
<\/span><\/li>1–2 years events/hospitality experience
<\/li>Willing to work weekends (non -negotiable)
<\/span><\/li>A responsible, trustworthy, “no task too small” attitude
<\/span><\/li>Outgoing personality – comfortable talking to neighbours and agents
<\/span><\/li>Weekend work is required
<\/span><\/li>Bonus: basic cooking, gardening, or handyman skills (we will train the rest)<\/span>

<\/div>Delight guests<\/b> – check -ins, breakfast cooking, special requests
<\/span><\/li>Keep things running<\/b> – light plumbing, lighting, pool & fish pond care
<\/span><\/li>Host events <\/b>– parties, small weddings, corporate stays
<\/span><\/li>Build relationships <\/b>– visit neighbouring guest houses, set up client referrals
<\/span><\/li>Grow our business<\/b> – invite travel agents & tour companies for site visits, secure bookings
