Introduction

Our client is looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead renewable energy projects from planning through to completion from their Midrand office. The ideal candidate will bring strong project management, commercial, contractual and stakeholder management experience within the renewable energy, EPC, construction or infrastructure sector.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, monitoring and close-out of renewable energy projects.
• Manage project schedules, budgets, resources and reporting.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, contractors, consultants and clients.
• Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure contractual, regulatory, quality and HSE compliance.
• Monitor project progress and report to key stakeholders.
• Support procurement, commissioning and project handover.
• Drive project performance and continuous improvement.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or a related field.
• 8–10 years’ project management experience.
• Experience within renewable energy, EPC, construction or infrastructure.

Renewable Energy Experience:
• Proven experience delivering Solar PV, Wind Energy and/or BESS projects.
• Strong understanding of project controls, scheduling and risk management.
• Sound commercial awareness and contract management experience.
