The Wind Farm Manager is responsible for the day-to-day on-site management of the wind farm in the Golan Heights, ensuring safe, reliable and efficient operations. The role leads site activities, manages contractors and service providers, and interfaces with internal stakeholders to achieve high availability, performance and compliance. The position reports directly to the Company CEO.
The employing entity is a subsidiary of Enlight Renewable Energy.
- Ensure daily on-site presence and manage all routine operational activities at the wind farm.
- Lead and promote a strong safety culture; ensure full compliance with HSE requirements, permits and procedures.
- Manage and supervise contractors and service providers, including planning, daily coordination, quality control, and budget oversight, across:
- Electrical engineering works (MV/HV, substations, switchgear, grid interface)
- Civil works (roads, drainage, foundations, heavy equipment logistics)
- Security services (access control, patrols, incident response and reporting)
- Coordinate and oversee wind turbine operations and maintenance activities, including OEM interface, scheduled maintenance, troubleshooting and corrective actions.
- Monitor plant performance through SCADA and operational reports; drive corrective actions and continuous improvement to optimize availability and production.
- Manage site documentation and reporting (work orders, permits, incidents, compliance records, KPIs).
- Ensure effective coordination with internal teams (Engineering, Grid, HSE, Procurement, Finance) and external stakeholders as required.
- Support contract management, including tracking KPIs/SLAs, warranties and service performance.
- Ability and willingness to be present on-site at the wind farm on a daily basis (full-time site position).
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in operations/maintenance of power generation assets;
- Proven experience managing contractors and multiple interfaces in a field environment, including electrical, civil and security scopes.
- Strong understanding of HSE standards and a demonstrated commitment to safety leadership and compliance.
- Engineering or practical engineering degree in the fields of either, electricity, mechanical or industrial.
- Experience working with OEMs and service providers; ability to manage service agreements, warranties and KPI/SLA tracking.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills; high sense of ownership and ability to work independently.
- High level of English (written and spoken)
- Proficiency in MS Office;
- Availability for on-call / emergency support as required.
- Valid driver’s license; willingness to travel within the region as needed.
