We’re partnering with a rapidly growing, trend-led food business that is looking to add a talented Product Developer / NPD Technologist to its expanding team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment and enjoys turning creative ideas into commercially successful products.
The Opportunity
Working as part of a collaborative NPD team, you’ll play a key role in developing innovative food products from concept through to launch. You’ll work closely with commercial, operations, procurement and technical teams to ensure products are delivered on time, on trend and commercially viable.
This role would suit someone who loves food trends, enjoys hands-on development work and is excited by the challenge of bringing new ideas to life.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Developing exciting new food concepts in line with customer and market trends
- Creating and preparing product samples for customer submissions and presentations
- Supporting factory trials and product launches
- Working cross-functionally to ensure products are commercially successful and operationally feasible
- Managing recipes, specifications and development documentation
- Supporting continuous improvement and product optimisation projects
- Keeping up to date with emerging food trends and consumer insights
- Helping deliver innovative products that stand out in a competitive market
What We’re Looking For
- Experience within food manufacturing, NPD or product development
- A genuine passion for food and innovation
- Strong organisation and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-moving environment
- A proactive and solutions-focused mindset
- Food-related qualification preferred
- Confident using Microsoft Office and development systems
- Flexible approach with willingness to travel when required
