Will you help us design the next generation of revolutionary Apple products?\\n\\nAs Engineering Program Manager (EPM) in the New Technology organization, you will be responsible for leading and driving the development of New Technology programs as well as managing all performance associated with the creation of New Technology projects.
You will collaborate closely with both in-region team and US-based EPM, as well as with cross functional DRIs, contract manufacturing and vendor partners. Your primary focus will be on managing engineering builds, qualification, risks and issue resolution throughout our engineering development cycles to ensure timely delivery of exceptional Apple products.
Lead cross-functional communication between Apple internal project teams and external vendors\\n\\nWork with Engineering Management and vendors to define, plan, track, communicate, and escalate as necessary\\n\\nEnable the development effort by creating and monitoring an efficient, streamlined process between Apple teams and external vendors\\n\\nProvide timely issue resolution and critical path management\\n\\nFacilitate good communication and provide multiple levels of status across a wide spectrum of individual contributors to executive management\\n\\nDrive day-to-day engineering build activities at the vendor’s factory to meet overall program objectives
5 - 10 years of experience (with a minimum of 5 years in engineering development or engineering program management)\\nMinimum bachelor"s degree in Engineering, Electronic, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical or equivalent.\\nFluent in English and local language (Mandarin).\\nIntensive Traveling required (every weekday).
Knowledge of the Hardware development process.\\nGreat leadership skills and ability to inspire team members.\\nExcellent communication, organizational and leadership skills.\\nSelf motivated and proactive with proven creative and critical thinking capabilities.\\nTeamwork: you should communicate well with cross-functional team members, be able to efficiently collaborate with team members to achieve project goals, and contribute positively to the engineering community environment.\\nBattery related knowledge/experience as an added advantage\\nOperations experience in a manufacturing environment
