Job Description Summary
The plant restart technical project engineer will establish & manage the technical interface between all parties involved in the project including engineers, customers, and subcontractors related to the restart existing boiling water reactors (BWR). Specifically, they will strengthen connections between the customer (utility), business project teams, and all engineering teams supporting the installed base fleet at headquarters in Wilmington, NC. Cultivating the knowledge of the various engineering skills, project types, coordination & communication needs that may be completed to assist in restart startup of a reactor will be required. Travel to the customer location may occur up to 6 times a year and other travel to headquarters will is expected not to exceed 30% of the year.

This position supports the Kuosheng Nuclear Power Plant located in New Taipei, Taiwan
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop work scope and plan execution of projects related to restart of an existing BWR by connect
- Provide oversight and schedule maintenance for all activities related to restart in coordination with project managers, engineering, and sourcing, when appropriate.
- Work closely with engineering leaders, managers, and technical leaders of engineering skills required to execute the projects in a timely manner and capacity thereto
- Coordinate with project/business interfaces, customer representative on work planning & execution monitoring for the bundle of projects selected.
- Identify technical risks and implement risk mitigation plans
QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
- B.S. Degree in Engineering Discipline (Nuclear, Mechanical, or similar)
- Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in a technology or engineering role
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
- The preferred work location for this role is at the GEH Headquarters Wilmington, NC but qualified remote candidates will be considered.
- This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government.
- Once a month travels to Taiwan.

- Project Management certification is desirable but is not required
- Ability to communicate with credibility and confidence both internally and externally.
- Extensive knowledge of BWR Systems and integrated plant response.
- Previous knowledge of the various engineering skills, project types, coordination & communication needs that may be completed to assist in restart startup of a reactor
- Experience with standard engineering work planning, risk identification, and design process techniques
- Honesty and a high level of personal integrity.
- Demonstrated strong personal commitment, accountability, and determination.
- Strong drive for continuous improvement.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $98,400.00 and $164,000.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
