About the Company:
NoPo Nanotechnologies
one of the few deep tech companies globally that leads the research and
development in the nanotubes space. The company manufactures and sells
high-quality single walled carbon nanotubes using proprietary methods known as
HiPCO®. These nanotubes are used in a variety of applications, including energy
storage (Li-ion, Na-ion batteries, etc), conductive additives in polymer,
elastomers, composites, space, defence, and electronics. NoPo is currently
scaling up production to meet the global customer demands.
About the Role:
We are seeking
a commercially astute and technically fluent Head of Sales to drive
revenue growth, market expansion, and strategic customer partnerships in the
nanotechnology and advanced materials space. This role demands a rare blend of deep
material science understanding and enterprise sales excellence, with
the ability to translate complex formulations into scalable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Revenue Leadership: Own and deliver
aggressive revenue targets by acquiring and scaling ₹10–50 Cr annual key
accounts across specialty materials segments.
- Strategic Selling: Lead long-cycle,
consultative sales engagements involving CTOs, R&D heads, and
procurement stakeholders.
- Market Expansion: Identify and penetrate
high-value segments including flooring, gloves, epoxy, polymers, and
composites.
- Technical Commercialization: Translate
product capabilities (e.g., conductivity, dispersion, dosage efficiency)
into clear ROI-led value propositions for customers.
- New Product Launches: Drive go-to-market
strategy and successful commercialization of new nanomaterial-based
solutions.
- Key Account Management: Build and deepen
relationships with strategic clients, ensuring repeat business and
long-term partnerships.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely
with R&D, manufacturing, and leadership teams to align product
development with market needs.
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Define
pricing, channel strategy, and sales processes suited for a high-growth,
innovation-led environment.
- Travel & Market Presence: Maintain
strong on-ground presence through frequent customer visits, industry
events, and partner engagements.
Requirements
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Masters/ Graduate
in Business Management with 10+ Years of Proven experience selling specialty
materials / advanced chemicals / nanotechnology products with a strong
technical qualification cycle.
- Demonstrated success
in closing and managing ₹10–50 Cr annual business accounts.
- Ability to
confidently engage with CTO, R&D, and Procurement stakeholders in complex B2B environments.
- Strong understanding of:
- Electrode slurry systems
- Conductivity optimization
- Dispersion technologies
- Dosage economics and
cost-performance trade-offs
- Track record of successful product launches in industrial or deep-tech markets.
- Established relationships across flooring,
gloves, epoxy, polymer, and composite industries.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with comfort operating in startup
ambiguity and fast-scaling environments.
- High willingness to travel extensively.

12–18 Months)
- Launch of new product and qualify material with
leaders in the industry in battery and conductive material segments
- Establish 3–5 high-value enterprise accounts
contributing significant revenue share
- Build a strong, repeatable sales pipeline in target
segments
