The successful candidate will take ownership of the safe, efficient, and repeatable running of polycarbonate injection moulding tools. You will be responsible for mould changeovers, process optimisation, preventive maintenance, and maintaining consistent part quality in a demanding production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Set and change injection moulding tools to standard, ensuring first‑time‑right start‑ups
- Optimise and maintain polycarbonate moulding processes and cycle times
- Release tools to production following first‑off quality approval
- Troubleshoot process and quality issues to minimise scrap and downtime
- Perform preventive and corrective mould maintenance
- Ensure correct handling, drying, and use of polycarbonate materials
- Maintain accurate tooling and production records
- Support operators and ensure effective shift handovers
- Comply with all safety, quality, and ISO procedures
