This position is located in Carl Sandburg Home National Historic Site, in the Facility Management Division.
Major Duties
As a Motor Vehicle Operator, you will perform the following duties: Operates and performs operator maintenance on one or more motor vehicles including pickup trucks, panel trucks, flatbed trucks, carryalls, sedans, crew cab pickup trucks, jeeps, and station wagons. Operates a vehicle on either specific trip assignments or regularly established schedules on public roads. Transports personnel, supplies, materials, or equipment and tools or to tow equipment. Loads cargo onto the vehicles. Safely transports passengers or cargo to their destinations throughout rural or urban areas on park and/or public roads. Completes daily work and/or trip reports.
