Position Description Summary
Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Semi-Driver /Processor II will be responsible for hauling recyclable, construction debris and/or other similar materials to and from different residential, commercial and industrial sites utilizing various semi tractors, trailers, roll-off trucks and roll-off containers. When not driving, the Semi-Driver / Processor will assist with heavy equipment operation and/or recyclable material processing. This position involves entering and exiting a heavy-duty tractor, truck, or heavy equipment numerous times each day.
The Semi Driver/ Processor II will ensure outstanding customer service, efficient material processing, and a successful recycling environment to meet the organization's goals.
Semi-Driver Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

Attention to safety at all times including the safe driving and operation of various semi tractors, trailers, roll-off trucks and heavy equipment on a daily basis, including:

Pick up and/or drop off full roll-off containers at industrial or commercial job sites including, but not limited to, the Drop Off Station, Recovery Yard, MRF, Community Clean Ups and other satellite locations and transport them to designated locations for recycling or disposal;

Pick up, drop off, live load and/or otherwise transport full or empty trailers (live floor, dry box, low boy) at industrial or commercial job sites including, but not limited to, the Drop Off Station, Recovery Yard, MRF, Community Clean Ups and other satellite locations and transport them to designated locations for recycling or disposal;

Operate heavy equipment including wheel loader, excavator, or other heavy equipment. Operational duties include clearing tip floors, loading trailers, moving recyclable material/waste, etc.
Processor II ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Operate all point-of-sale systems, scale and transit logistics systems, transactions including cash handling (ex. gatehouse, offices, etc.).
