We’re recruiting on behalf of a Rosebank-based client looking for a driven and commercially minded Solar Sales Engineer. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-growing renewable energy business delivering fully financed, end-to-end solar solutions to commercial and industrial clients.
As a Solar Sales Engineer, you’ll be responsible for driving new business development while providing technical expertise on solar and energy solutions. You will engage with clients, assess their energy needs, and present tailored solutions, including solar PV, battery storage, and energy-as-a-service offerings. You’ll work closely with the technical and project teams to ensure seamless solution design and delivery.
The company develops, owns, and manages renewable energy assets, offering fully financed solar solutions that help businesses reduce energy costs and improve reliability.
Job Experience & Skills Required:
- Proven experience in solar sales or a similar technical sales role
- Strong understanding of solar PV systems, battery storage, and energy solutions
- Ability to engage with commercial and industrial clients
- Experience with proposals, costing, and solution design
- Strong communication, negotiation, and closing skills
- Self-driven with a strong business development mindset
We Will Also Consider:
- Electrical or Mechanical Engineers with a passion for sales
- Candidates with experience in energy solutions, PPAs, or renewable energy finance
