<\/div>We are looking for an Accounting Intern (6 months full -time)<\/b> to
support the accounting team in AP activities and month -end closing process for
the legal entities of the Galileo Group across Europe. You’ll be based in Milan<\/b> (with
the possibility of hybrid remote working), reporting to the Head of Accounting.<\/span><\/span>

What you’ll do:<\/span><\/span><\/u>
<\/p>
Support the management of purchase requests and the creation of purchase
orders.<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>Assist in matching supplier invoices with purchase orders and/or collecting
the required approvals.<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>Support the Accounts Payable team in day -to -day administrative and
accounting activities.<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>Help analyse payment due dates and support the payment run process.<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>Assist in checking the consistency of data between the Procure -to -Pay
system and the accounting system.<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>Support the preparation of documents and data needed for the monthly
closing process.<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>Interact with external accounting service providers and internal
stakeholders to support smooth finance operations.<\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>Maintain accurate records and help ensure proper
filing of accounting documentation.<\/span><\/span><\/span>

Requirements<\/h3>
What you’ll need: <\/span><\/span><\/u>
<\/p>
High school diploma
in Accounting and/or a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or
related subjects, or currently studying in one of these fields.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>A previous
first internship or short experience in finance, accounting, or administration will
be considered a plus.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>At least
intermediate knowledge of the English language (especially written).<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>Good
knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>Good
communication and interpersonal skills.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>Strong
attention to detail and willingness to learn.<\/span><\/span><\/span>
<\/span><\/li>Problem -solving attitude and ability to work well
in a team.<\/span><\/span>
