Job Title: Manager - Civil (Design & Engineering)

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Civil professional with 12+ years of relevantexperience in the Wind Energy sector (at least 5 years of minimum Wind sectorexperience). Proven expertise in managing renewable energy projects. The candidateshould have expertise in civil design & engineering along with execution capabilities,contractor management, quality & safety management.
Job Responsibilities:
- Handle multiple wind energy projects pan-India, overseeing civil works from start to finish.
- Spearhead the pre-design and design of all civil works, mainly WTG foundation, crane platform, internal roads, pipe, and culverts.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure the integration of wind turbine design, surface design, and assembly. Provide valuable assistance in foundation structural designs and re-designing as required.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for review and validation of geo-tech and hydrology reports.
- Effectively manage projects with respect to civil responsibilities, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Implement rigorous quality control measures to ensure that all civil works meet the highest standards and comply with relevant regulations.
- Monitor and review all civil works at the site along with the civil contractor and our own civil engineers at the site.
- Collaborate with contractors and vendors, fostering strong working relationships to achieve project goals.
- Prioritize HSE, i.e., health, safety, and environmental compliance throughout all stages of the projects.
- NCR management and quality control.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date control documents, ensuring proper documentation and archiving of project-related information.
Qualifications:
- Relevant Experience: 8+ years of extensive experience in civil roles, with at least 5+ years in Wind Energy, and exposure to design and the relevant tools.
- Communication Skills: Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with global team members of the company.
- Wind Turbine Expertise (with respect to civil).
- Design-Focused: Be a design-focused individual with a keen eye for detail. Able to provide valuable input into foundation structural designs and re-designing processes.
- Software Proficiency: Proficient in using software tools such as AutoCAD, Creo, Unigraphics NX/UGNX, MS Projects, and MS Office to streamline project workflows and enhance productivity.
