Position Overview
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide quality patient care in clinical, home, and community-based settings. This role supports patient care under the direction of a physician or registered nurse.
This position may require flexibility, including rotating shifts, evenings, and weekends. Work is performed in environments where exposure to illness, disease, and high-demand situations may occur.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide practical nursing care to patients and clients
- Support physicians and registered nurses in delivering care
- Monitor patient conditions and report updates
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care teams
Minimum Qualifications
Experience:
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse
Licensure:
- Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the State of Maryland or a Multi-State Licensure Compact license
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of practical nursing practices and standards
- Ability to provide quality patient care
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to maintain accurate records
- Ability to work effectively with healthcare teams and patients
Additional Requirements
- Must be willing to complete a criminal background check and/or fingerprinting if selected
- Selected candidates must complete a six-month probationary period
- Education must be from an accredited institution (international education must be evaluated for U.S. equivalency)
