Role Purpose
Act as ESW’s senior sustainability subject matter expert, shaping medium-term ESG direction and leading complex enterprise-wide initiatives. Provides strategic advice to Legal and senior leadership on sustainability risks, regulatory exposure, and performance improvement opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Advisory
- Support development and refinement of ESW’s 3–5 year sustainability roadmap.
- Lead materiality assessments and ESG risk analysis in partnership with Legal.
- Advise on regulatory exposure and emerging sustainability legislation.
Enterprise Programme Leadership
- Lead large-scale sustainability transformation initiatives.
- Drive integration of ESG requirements into supply chain, product, and operational processes.
- Design and enhance ESG reporting frameworks and controls.
Senior Stakeholder Influence
- Present updates and analysis to senior leadership.
- Support Board reporting (via Head of Legal).
- Serve as escalation point for complex client sustainability matters.
External & Regulatory Engagement
- Liaise with sustainability advisors and industry bodies.
- Track global ESG regulatory developments and assess implications for ESW.
Experience
- 2 years’ ESG/sustainability experience.
- Deep knowledge of sustainability reporting and regulatory frameworks.
- Experience influencing senior leaders.
- Strong risk, governance, and analytical capability.
