About the Role:
The Quality Assistant Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring that products and services meet the established quality standards and customer expectations. This position involves overseeing quality assurance processes, implementing quality control measures, and leading a team of quality inspectors. The Quality Assistant Manager will collaborate with various departments to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to enhance product quality. Additionally, this role requires the analysis of quality data to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Ultimately, the Quality Assistant Manager is responsible for fostering a culture of quality within the organization, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems and methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Quality Management (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO 9001).
- Experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a quality department.
- Familiarity with statistical analysis tools and software.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the development and implementation of quality assurance policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular quality audits and inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Lead and mentor a team of quality inspectors, providing training and support as needed.
- Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.
