Job Summary
The Customer Service Representative (CSR) at Penfolds Group of Companies operates as the first point of contact for new and existing clients. The CSR also has the responsibility of coordinating tasks with all departments within Penfolds Group of Companies.
Job Responsibilities
- Answer phone calls for potential and current clients, directing calls when needed, answering basic questions.
- Enter roofing leads requested via various platforms (social media, phone call, online form, direct mail).
- Ordering and uploading Eagleview reports for the sales team.
- Ensuring accuracy of TA job files and submitting them to Production.
- Process and record payments throughout the job process.
- Process various payment methods ( credit card, cheque, cash, financeit).
- Create and send invoices.
- Complete daily general ledger accounting reports.
- Purchase and maintain inventory of office supplies.
- Send and receive documents/packages, Distributing incoming mail.
- Complete and send warranty documents for both proprietary and non-proprietary products.
- Submit commission tracking to accounting on a bi-weekly basis.
- Arrange for quotes of office services when requested (shredding, cleaning, pest control, recycle bin).
- Provide other office support when needed ( directing crew, answering questions, scanning, laminating ).
- Assist in office events/meetings (decorating, food ordering).
- Ordering and distribution of uniform inventory.
- Greeting and recording visitors to the office.
- Soliciting Reviews for our social media sites.
- Managing the Office Directory.
- Must carry out work in accordance with established safe work procedures as required by the OHS provisions and the regulations.
- Must use protective equipment, devices and clothing as required by the regulations.
- Must refrain from any form of horseplay or similar conduct that may endanger the worker or any other person.
- Must ensure that his/her ability to work without risk to their health or safety, or to the health or safety of any other person, is not impaired by alcohol, drugs or other causes.
- Must report to the supervisor or employer any unsafe act or behaviour.
- Any other duties, as required.
Qualifications/Skills
- Intermediate user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) considered an asset
- Diploma or Degree in related field considered an asset
- Experience dealing directly with customer considered an asset
- Proper phone etiquette
- Bondable
