Our Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a Intermediate/Senior Process Engineer to join our team to support the delivery of process projects, primarily in the Pulp and Paper sector. As the successful candidate, you will have the opportunity to work with cross-discipline teams, and plan, coordinate and execute the design of a variety of projects.

A Day in the Life
- Preparation of engineering designs and related documents, including conceptual design, front-end, and detailed engineering of process plants
- Support the development of PFDs, P&IDs, controls, logic, and safety systems
- Participate in on-site studies and start-up activities
- Foster and grow strong relationships with our process team leaders and our clients
- Support preparation of proposals for process-related scopes, assumptions, and manhour estimates
- Coordinate with a multi-disciplinary team to complete work within allotted schedules and budgets to deliver quality deliverables on time and on budget
What You’ll Bring to the Team
- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Manufacturing, or Process Engineering
- 5+ years of relevant heavy industrial experience preferably in the Pulp and Paper sector working for an engineering consultant, OEM supplier and/or in a pulp and paper facility
- HAZOP/Operability studies experience
- Experience with process integration or pinch analysis studies
- Plant experience is an asset
- Analytical and computer skills, ideally with knowledge and proficiency of commercial process design software (i.e. CsPlus, WinGems,VMGSim,)
- Excellent communication skills (interpersonal and written) and proven ability to collaborate with team members in a multi-disciplined environment
