Job Description Summary:
We are looking for a Power Trader to join our Spanish Trading team within the Energy Markets department. In the ever changing landscape of the Power Market, how business continuously expand in volumes and activities. We are looking for a new colleague ready to join our fast-pace, international and challenging group.
Job Description:
Main Responsibilities:
- Bidding and scheduling Renewable Power Plants in every session of the Spanish Electricity Market
- Develop the bidding strategy for the Spanish Portfolio to reduce “desvios” cost
- Implement the trading strategy using the ETRM tool
- Monitor the regulatory framework to adapt the operations of the Team to the current framework
- Support back- and middle-office in daily operation.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the energy industry
- Deep knowledge of Spanish power market dynamics
- Experience with scheduling and Bidding on OMIE/REE
- Experience in OMIE/REE platform
- Familiarity with Risk management and commodities trading strategies
Key Requirements:
- Proficient in English and Spanish
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience with the use of ETRM software
- Good communication skills
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Programming skills are a plus
