- Support/lead development and review of HSE documentation (procedures, risk assessments, SWMS, JSAs, management plans and methodologies).
- Deliver inductions, toolbox talks and targeted training to reinforce safe and compliant work practices.
- Participate in incident, hazard and near-miss investigations; identify root causes and implement corrective/preventative actions.

About you
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in HSE and/or environmental management, ideally in construction, civil, pipeline or similar project environments.
- Strong working knowledge of safety legislation and environmental regulatory requirements; confident applying standards in a practical site setting.
- Experience conducting inspections/audits and managing action close-out.
- Proven incident investigation capability (ICAM/TapRooT desirable).
- Highly effective written and verbal communication skills; able to influence and build strong relationships across multiple stakeholders.
- Organised and outcomes-focused, with strong problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Flexible and willing to travel and relocate short-term as project needs require.
Qualifications (essential/desirable)

- Diploma or Certificate IV in WHS (highly regarded).
- Certificate IV TAE (Trainer/Assessor) – desirable.
- Lead Auditor qualification – desirable.
- Experience with Tasmanian and Victorian regulatory bodies – desirable.

This role requires flexibility to support project planning and delivery across multiple locations. You will commence in our Brisbane or Perth office (Melbourne considered) before attending site for the execution of works. Following the planning phase, the role will transition to a project-based position with regular travel between Waratah Bay (Victoria) and Heybridge (Tasmania).
