Responsibilities and qualifications
You will play a key role in advancing our research in enzyme technology for the green transition. We are looking for a candidate with strong experimental skills, scientific curiosity, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively in an international research team. You will become part of a research project, Woodbat which is a joint venture between DTU Bioengineering and DTU Energy, and the work will require high level of involvement and collaboration across the two departments.
It is a clear advantage if you have background in oxidative enzymes, advanced analytical methodologies and insights into the chemistry of electrochemically active compounds.
As a formal qualification, you must hold a PhD degree (or equivalent).

Salary and terms of employment
The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations. The allowance will be agreed upon with the relevant union.
The period of employment starts after mutual agreement, preferably as soon as possible and ends December 31st 2027.
