Cedar Park Group (CPG) is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician for a solar field project. This role is ideal for candidates with hands-on solar electrical experience who are comfortable working outdoors and supporting installation and electrical tasks on utility-scale solar projects.
Position Overview
The Electrical Technician will support solar field electrical installation activities including wire pulling, terminations, equipment connections, and testing. The ideal candidate has prior experience working on solar projects and understands jobsite safety, electrical systems, and teamwork in a construction environment.
Requirements

2–5 years of experience working as a solar electrician or electrical technician

Prior electrical experience on a solar field project required

Experience working with combiner boxes and modular boxes

Ability to pull wire, attach wires, and perform continuity testing

OSHA 10 certification required

Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Reliable transportation and strong work ethic

Ability to work both independently and as part of a crew
Responsibilities

Install and support electrical components on solar field projects

Work with combiner boxes, modular boxes, and related equipment

Pull and terminate wiring according to project specifications

Perform continuity testing and basic electrical troubleshooting

Follow all jobsite safety procedures and OSHA standards

Maintain organized work areas and assist the crew with daily tasks

Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members

Support timely and efficient completion of project milestones
