Join our Team and advance your career as an
Environmental Tax SME
In this role You will:
Independently manage the end-to-end process and timely submission of environmental tax declarations and related reports across various frequencies for the European regions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Following the submission manage payment in line with the internal requirement and instruct the relevant teams.
Carry out monthly GL reconciliations, quarterly Balance Sheet Assurance process for countries supported.
Resolve queries and issues as they arise typically directly with the Business / FBT Finance / External consultants / Levy Authorities and prepare process documentation for activities in scope.
Look for opportunities to improve the processes to create efficiencies on process matters, assigned projects through simplification and standardization
Providing control and risk management on the end-to-end process.
Manage Environmental Levy audits / queries from Authorities.
Develop good working relationships with both internally and externally and represent FBT Finance to internal and external partners
What You need to be successful:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting or related field, preferably with a relevant accounting qualification.
Proven working experience in accounting or taxation.
Strong proven/validated analytical, system thinking skills, financial knowledge and attention to details.
Fluency in English
Highly proficient with Excel. Prior experience with financial systems and reporting is an advantage
Experience with SAP system
Strong CI perspective
Demonstrates the ability to identify, analyze, and resolve problems effectively, while proactively taking initiative to address or mitigate issues.
Readiness for action and ability to work under strict deadlines
Ability to work in a constantly changing Environmental Levy rules and regulations.
Strong communication, cooperation, and teamwork skills
